**Senior Embedded Linux System Engineer Position**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Linux System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and system engineering, with expertise in embedded Linux systems.

  • Provide software and system engineering services for OEM and ODM customers.
  • Work closely with partners on platform bring-up and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with project managers and Field/QA engineers to identify and resolve critical issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and facilitate communication between teams.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with C, Python, and Bash programming languages.
  • Experience with Linux kernel, boot, and system-level architecture.
  • Knowledge of bootloader development, including u-boot.
  • Ability to work in a globally distributed team and learn new technologies quickly.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • System firmware, including uboot, UEFI, ACPI, DSDT, and boot loaders.
  • Debugging power management on PCI ASPM, SATA ALPM, and low power profiles.
  • Board design, bring-up, and validation.
  • Computer architecture knowledge of x86, ARM, and RISC-V.
  • Familiarity with Ubuntu development model and Shell/Python scripting skills.
