Job Summary

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, from day-to-day management and guest experience to team leadership and strategic growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all pre-opening activities including recruitment, training, supplier setup, and brand alignment.
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and food quality.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, hospitality, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure menu authenticity and consistent quality.
  • Create and manage budgets, control costs, monitor P&L, and meet revenue targets.
  • Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards as well as brand guidelines.
  • Implement strong guest relations and feedback systems to build loyalty and brand reputation.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to position the restaurant as a top culinary destination.
  • Continuously assess market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a leading edge.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of F&B leadership experience in luxury restaurants or high-end hotel dining concepts.
  • Proven experience operating within European hospitality markets is required.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving revenue.
  • Possession of exceptional leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic and/or French is highly desirable.
  • Culturally sensitive, guest-focused, and capable of working with VIP clientele.
