Job Description
The role of Assistant Risk Manager is crucial in maintaining a proactive and professional approach to risk management. The job holder will assist the Head of Risk & Credit Support in performing the second line of defense through governance, oversight, development, and management of a strong, independent but commercially aware Risk Management function.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in coordinating the activities of Group risk disciplines, particularly Integrated Stress Testing, ICAAP, and implementation of ORM, FRM, BCM, and Data Protection frameworks.
  • Act as an ORM Champion and coordinate with Group Risk on the above activities.
  • Provide timely and accurate risk reporting to management, BRC, and CBB.
  • Attend and facilitate Risk meetings of the bank.

Day-to-Day Duties:
  • Ensure the implementation of regular monitoring of compliance with covenants, approval conditions, and credit administration matters.
  • Support the Risk Head in ensuring the bank's governance, policies, and procedures align with Group and regulatory guidance.
