IT Audit Manager

The primary role involves managing IT audit involvement in multiple engagements, tracking progress, and communicating observations in a timely manner. Ensuring quality documentation by team members according to agreed IT audit templates and working papers is also crucial.

This position requires handling engagements independently with minimal supervision from seniors and supports the System of Quality Management (So QM) implementation and annual assessment of the firm's IT controls. Additionally, it involves assisting in reviews for 2 Level D projects related to IT audit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of external audit clients and deliver IT audit services on time and to quality standards.
  • Ensure consistent and high-quality documentation by team members as per IT audit templates and working papers.
  • Manage engagements effectively to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Support the implementation and annual assessment of the firm's IT controls under the So QM.
  • Participate in daily team management, including coaching, providing feedback, and supporting performance development.
  • Provide technical knowledge, coaching, and training to junior team members.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, ACA, or CPA and hold CISA certification. A minimum of 7+ years of post-qualification experience in Big 4 firms or a dynamic IT audit environment is required. The candidate should have experience in identifying and assessing complex IT risks and controls, relating them to broader business contexts, and communicating opinions clearly at all levels. Experience with IT General Controls (ITGC) and auditing application controls across various business processes is also essential.
