Firefighter Specialist

Vectrus requires Firefighters with exceptional physical abilities and the capacity to function effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lifting, bending, climbing, standing for extended periods, sitting for prolonged periods, and working in potentially hazardous environments.
• Adhering to safety protocols by utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following established procedures.
• Maintaining regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations, and internal guidelines.

Essential Qualifications:

• A combination of experience and education that meets the minimum requirements.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as Firefighter I and II, Airport Firefighter, Hazmat Awareness/Operations, and others.
• Obtaining NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications and ensuring their visibility on approved websites.
• Developing proficiency in MS Office applications and maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Having at least 3-5 years of experience working with an organized fire department.
