Aerodrome Compliance Specialist
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the oversight, inspection, and auditing program that ensures compliance with local and international regulations for Aerodrome Certification. This includes monitoring airsides works conducted by D&T/FM, contractors, and other relevant parties.
Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of BCAA audit findings and facilitate the implementation of corrective action plans to achieve and maintain full compliance.
• Conduct daily inspections of airside infrastructure, generating reports for HADCC that address pavement conditions, markings, lighting, signages and other observations that may impact aircraft safety or the airport's level of compliance.
• Support HADCC with the review of maintenance programs, schedules and procedures developed by D&T/FM and/or contractors to ensure optimal operational integrity and compliance.
• Develop and deliver a monthly report highlighting findings and observations related to infrastructure, including recommendations for corrective and preventive actions to HADCC.
Key Qualifications:
• University degree in civil engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• ICAO/ACI certification in aerodrome compliance and safety, which may include auditing and compliance, safety management system, aerodrome certification, aerodrome safeguarding and OLS, aeronautical studies and risk analysis, managing aerodrome works, and human factors experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with special focus on aerodrome operations and compliance.
