About the Role

The Gun Mechanic / Operator will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Offshore Seismic Project. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our gunboats, which will require a strong understanding of marine machinery and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on gunboat engines and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and maintain optimal performance.
  2. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects, and assist in loading and unloading equipment and supplies as needed.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and protocols when operating and maintaining the gunboats.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as marine engineering or mechanics.
  • At least 5 years of experience operating and maintaining gunboats in offshore environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical issues.
