Job Description:

Bahrain Airport Company seeks a skilled Cybersecurity Architect to lead the development and implementation of robust cybersecurity strategies, ensuring the protection of our digital assets and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Audits: Conduct comprehensive security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement actionable improvements.
  • Privilege Access Management: Develop and enforce robust Privilege Access Management (PAM) strategies to safeguard sensitive resources.
  • Security Hardening: Create and maintain Security Hardening Guidelines in compliance with industry standards, ensuring secure configurations across all systems.
  • Cybersecurity Tasks Automation: Design and deploy automated processes for cybersecurity tasks using Python scripting.
  • Vulnerability Management: Manage the organization's Vulnerability Management Program, including regular scanning, assessment, remediation, and reporting.
  • Security Automation: Implement and oversee Security Automation processes to streamline threat detection, incident response, and compliance checks.
  • Incident Response: Continuously monitor security systems to detect, respond to, and resolve potential incidents promptly.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, Dev Ops, and other teams to embed security practices into all phases of the SDLC.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Threat Detection and Response: Experience in Threat Detection and Response using tools like Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar.
  • Vulnerability Management: Proficiency in Vulnerability Management using tools like Nessus, Qualys, or Open VAS.
  • Privilege Access Management: Knowledge of Privilege Access Management (PAM) using tools like Wallix, Cyber Ark, or Beyond Trust.
  • Security Automation and Orchestration: Experience in Security Automation and Orchestration using tools like Python, Splunk Phantom, or Cortex XSOAR.
  • Dev Sec Ops: Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops using tools like Sonar Qube, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Security Hardening and Compliance: Understanding of Security Hardening and Compliance using tools like CIS Benchmarks, SITG Benchmarks, or Qualys Policy Compliance.
  • Cloud Security: Experience in Cloud Security using tools like AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Network Security: Knowledge of Network Security using tools like Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Snort, or Suricata.
  • Endpoint Security: Familiarity with Endpoint Security using tools like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Crowd Strike Falcon, or Sentinel One.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in cyber security.
