About the Role

The Cloud Services Manager is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the implementation of cloud solutions. This role involves guiding a team of engineers in designing, deploying, and maintaining private and public cloud systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality cloud solutions that meet customer needs.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering best practices.
  3. Representing the team technically to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
  4. Developing and evangelizing great engineering and organizational practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Ceph.
  • Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
  • Experience in technical presales and sales engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A track record of developing and growing people.
  • Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring engineers.
