Housekeeping Specialist

**Job Summary**

The Housekeeping Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries.
• Empty trash bins and ensure rooms are neat and organized.

**Laundry Management:

Clean, sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other laundry items. Ensure laundry is cleaned and returned to appropriate areas in a timely manner.

Maintain laundry equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.

**Inventory & Stock Management:**

Evaluate and maintain cleaning supplies and laundry products stock levels.

Monitor and maintain inventory levels for linens, towels, and cleaning materials.

**Safety & Hygiene:**

FOLLOW ALL HEALTH, SAFETY, AND SANITATION STANDARDS.

Properly handle cleaning chemicals and laundry detergents, ensuring safe usage and storage.

**Team Collaboration:**

Assist other housekeeping team members when needed.

Communicate with supervisors regarding room status or laundry requirements.

**Requirements:**

• Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry responsibilities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, methodologies, and equipment is required.
• Strong physical endurance and capability to lift heavy objects are necessary.
