Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical works on our project.

The role will involve reviewing all submittals, including technical and material submittals, and assisting the QC Manager with activities related to the 3-phase inspection process for electrical activities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of experience as a quality control electrical engineer. Experience in mega projects is a must, and experience in US Army projects is preferable.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be focused and structured, and have excellent organizational skills. They will also be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review all submittals, including technical and material submittals

• Assist the QC Manager with activities related to the 3-phase inspection process for electrical activities

• Monitor the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to electrical works

• Manage the inspection and testing of electrical works

• Monitor the close out of punch lists established for incomplete related to electrical works

• Monitor all measurement & testing instruments employed for electrical works

• Witness, review, and approve welder qualifications and WPS, PQR qualifications

• Liaise and coordinate with 3rd Party Testing /Inspection Company as required related to electrical works

• Statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to electrical works

• Prepare, file, maintain test/inspection records and any other quality records generated related to electrical works

• Assisting construction personnel to identify and resolve problems and potential or actual non-conformances related to electrical works

• Advises the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and where necessary, raises a Non-conformance Report for non-compliant work, and monitors the closeout and effectiveness of the correction and corrective action undertaken

• Witnessing of all NDT and electrical testing (including hydro testing, pneumatic testing etc.) specified

• Attends and witnesses all Client verification of work (inspection, test and the like) on site, and coordinates close out of any and all outstanding issues related to Civil works

• Where required, assists in the preparation of final document for certification

• Assists in the systems commissioning as required

• Performs any other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Min. 7 years as quality control electrical engineer

• Experience in mega project is a must
• Preferable with experience in US Army projects
