Fiberglass Laminator

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality fiberglass components used in the construction of our luxury marine products. This role requires attention to detail and precision to ensure that all fiberglass parts meet our high standards for strength, quality, and durability.

• Mold Preparation: Prepare molds and materials for the lamination process, ensuring accurate lay-up of fiberglass layers.
• Fiberglass Application: Apply fiberglass resins and coatings to molds, ensuring proper application and thickness.
• Fiberglass Trimming: Cut, layer, and smooth fiberglass sheets according to technical specifications and project requirements.
• Component Inspection: Inspect and repair any defects or imperfections in fiberglass components.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets our quality standards and is completed within production timelines.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience as a Fiberglass Laminator or in a similar role, preferably within the marine, automotive, or construction industries.
• Strong knowledge of fiberglass lamination techniques, tools, and materials.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience with hand and power tools used in fiberglass trimming, sanding, and finishing.
• Good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices when working with fiberglass and resins.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
