Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Faculty Position

We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to teach Industrial and Mechanical Engineering courses at the undergraduate level. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach up to five courses per semester, depending on rank and departmental needs.
  • Develop and deliver course syllabi, lesson plans, and assignments that align with program outcomes.
  • Evaluate student progress through grading assignments, papers, exams, and other work products.
  • Provide academic advising to students, helping them choose appropriate courses and achieve their educational goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop or modify curriculum for degree or certificate programs involving a series of courses.
  • Stay current with changes and innovations in the field, applying this knowledge to teaching and research.
  • Assist with invigilating examinations and participating in faculty meetings.
  • Pursue research and scholarly activities, including writing publications and securing external funding.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Master's degree from a recognized institution in a relevant field (Industrial and Mechanical Engineering) is required.
  • Experience teaching Industrial and Mechanical Engineering and/or related programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with degrees from reputable institutions and experience teaching in higher education settings.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with peers, leadership, and external constituents.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support teaching and learning.
