Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the MEP project team, you will be responsible for supervising the installation of electrical systems, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring all electrical works are carried out as per project specifications, safety standards, and schedule.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance in MEP projects, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, installation standards, and site procedures. They will also be familiar with local authority regulations and safety codes, and have the ability to read and interpret shop drawings and electrical layouts.

  • Supervise and manage the installation of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, cabling, fire alarm, and low current systems on-site.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams for the timely supply of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Inspect and verify delivered materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure installation work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure electrical works are completed within the project schedule.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems before handover.
  • Support the maintenance team in identifying and resolving electrical faults or breakdowns.
  • Prepare daily/weekly site reports, including progress, manpower, and materials used.
  • Ensure all activities comply with HSE regulations and company safety policies.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate with other MEP disciplines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and reporting tools.
  • Preferably with CRPEP License/EWA License.
