Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Mentor Data Scientists: Provide guidance on best practices in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Develop Data Science Strategy: Align with business objectives and integrate data-driven insights into decision-making processes.
  • Innovate Data Science Projects: Design and implement projects that drive value for the organization.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Identify opportunities to leverage data to improve products, services, and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate Insights: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding their data needs.
  • Evaluate Performance: Monitor and evaluate the performance of data science models, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Promote Data-Driven Culture: Communicate the value of data science initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a data science role, with at least 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a managerial or leadership position.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methodologies, and data modeling techniques.
  • Tools: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings effectively.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.

  • Certified Data Scientist (CDS)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate
  • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
