Job Purpose

This role provides business and administrative support and coordination in all required HR areas. The Human Resources Specialist will assist every aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff members.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the School Director on manpower planning, preparing the first draft of staffing needs, and sending to the HR Manager and Regional Director.
  • Administer attendance and leaves in own school, follow up on employee's records, and raise attendance issues to direct supervisor, School Director, and HRM for corrective action when needed.
  • Handle all recruitment activities related to local and expat staff, including posting vacancies, screening resumes, organizing technical tests, conducting interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Write feedback and keep candidates' files and applications updated on SABIS Careers.
  • Collect required documents from new joiners, prepare and follow up on the Letter of Intent (LOI), employment contracts, confidentiality, and waiver agreements.
  • Organize and ensure proper implementation of the orientation programs for new and returning staff members.
  • Develop and follow up on the induction programs for new joiners and coordinate all logistics.
  • Handle the issuance and renewal of insurance policies.
  • Maintain and organize the HR files and keep all records up-to-date.
  • Follow up and ensure a proper implementation and compliance with all internal policies and procedures.
  • Organize and handle the HR roundtables in own school and share a consolidated report with the School Director and HR Manager.
  • Develop and follow-up on Performance Improvement Plans and Talent Development Programs.
  • Ensure that Classroom Observations are being done in an efficient and effective manner throughout the academic year.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or any relevant degree is required. English and Arabic proficiency is essential. Human Resources Certification is a plus. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the field is preferred.
