As a visionary leader, you will be responsible for driving growth and innovation in hotel sales and marketing. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing commercial strategies, managing business processes, and elevating the brand.

  • You will be responsible for connecting strategy and business processes to manage the asset effectively.
  • Lead the development and implementation of both short-term and long-term strategies in all sales, events, and marketing channels to achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Produce the hotel's Annual Multi-Year Commercial Strategy Plan, in partnership with on-property leaders and regional support.
  • Connect performance needs with solutions designed by the Raffles brand enterprise, in each key segment served.

In this role, you will work closely with Commercial Leadership to ensure pre-opening and Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies are in place to maximize pricing components.

Collaboration and Communication
  • Work with Brand e-Commerce teams to build & establish hotel B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and communications channels.
  • Guide these teams to ensure online hotel content is accurate and effective.
Performance and Results
  • Review and validate revenue forecasts to improve accuracy while developing strategies for different demand periods.
  • Develop and execute departmental expense budget and forecasts.

This senior role demands a blend of visionary leadership, strategic marketing genius, and sales expertise.

Leadership Skills
  • Develop and maintain detailed and real-time knowledge of all competitor and market activity.
  • Responsible for recruiting and retention of all sales and marketing roles.

Able to communicate effectively at all levels, lead, engage, and develop team members, including ongoing performance development and Career Development Plans.

Market Awareness
  • Liaise with Raffles Global Sales, regional support, and brand teams.
  • Build strong relationships with CVB, community groups/influencers, and 3rd party travel partners.

Engage with customers from all sales segments, demonstrating sophistication, humility, personality, charisma, confidence, professional etiquette, and competencies.

Service-oriented with an eye for details, good interpersonal skills, multicultural awareness, presentation, influencing, flexibility, ability to work independently, self-motivated, energetic, collaborative, enabling, entrepreneurial, constantly improving guest and colleague service experience.
