Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Computing Teacher to join our team at RESO. As a member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to implement the SABIS curriculum and philosophy to ensure students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach classes using the provided lesson plans, developing your own plans as needed based on pacing charts.
  2. Mark exams related to the taught subject according to the schedule and material provided by the department.
  3. Collaborate with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) to discuss disciplinary and student performance issues as needed.
  4. Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a productive learning environment in the classroom.
  5. Proctor exams as necessary while ensuring a well-managed test environment.
  6. Support academically underperforming students through personalized guidance and motivation to aid in their improvement.
  7. Assist in preparing students for external exams by reviewing past exams as outlined in the structured revision schedule for relevant grade levels.
  8. Contribute to various school duties including proctoring tests, covering classes, supervising students during lunch and bus hours, managing traffic flow, and other administrative tasks assigned by the school administration.
  9. Participate in activities relating to student life events like art exhibitions, open houses, and physical education, working closely with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC).
  10. Maintain ongoing professional development by attending training sessions requested by the school administration to enhance understanding of the SABIS system and improve overall student outcomes.
  11. Pursue additional tasks or projects assigned by the school administration as required.
