Job Title: Scrum Master

The role of a Scrum Master is pivotal in guiding development teams and facilitating the scrum process, ensuring that Agile practices are effectively embedded to align with business objectives. By enabling delivery teams to enhance and accelerate the flow of value to the business, a successful Scrum Master plays a vital role in fostering collaboration and driving success.

  • Serving as an Agile champion, assist the team in understanding and adopting Agile delivery methodologies
  • Ensure that the delivery team adheres to Agile practices, rules, and values
  • Organize and facilitate scrum rituals such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives
  • Mentor the team in Agile practices, addressing any challenges and concerns
  • Promote clear communication between development teams and other stakeholders
  • Foster a collaborative working environment within the delivery team and address any potential conflicts
  • Monitor and communicate progress across sprints using relevant metrics
  • Identify impediments and resolve them efficiently to ensure effective sprint delivery
  • Ensure all sprint activities are aligned with the organization's overall objectives and policies
Qualifications and Experience:

A bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science is required. Additionally, at least 10 years of work experience and relevant certifications like Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are expected.

  • 10+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master, preferably in the banking sector
  • Knowledge of banking operations, products, and services
  • Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and leadership skills with the ability to work with diverse teams and foster a collaborative environment
  • Proven experience in facilitating Scrum rituals and delivering Scrum trainings will be an added advantage
  • High proficiency in using Agile delivery management tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar
  • Certifications or experience in frameworks like SaFe (Scaled Agile Framework), LeSS (Large Scale Scrum) would be preferred
