Job Title: Sustainability Emissions Analyst

We're seeking a skilled professional to lead our sustainability team in measuring, analyzing, and reducing our organization's greenhouse gas emissions. The ideal candidate will drive sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with climate regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Analysis:
    - Gather and analyze data on greenhouse gas emissions from various sources.
    - Calculate carbon footprint using established methodologies (e.g., GHG Protocol).
  • Emissions Reduction Strategies:
    - Identify opportunities to reduce emissions through energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable practices.
    - Develop and implement emissions reduction plans and projects.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    - Prepare reports on emissions performance for internal stakeholders and external parties.
    - Communicate emissions data and reduction progress to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    - Stay updated on climate change regulations, carbon pricing, and reporting requirements.
    - Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    - Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, procurement) to drive sustainability initiatives.
    - Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors and industry groups.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
  • Proven experience in carbon emissions analysis, sustainability reporting, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of GHG protocols, carbon accounting, and climate regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and drive change.
