Child Development Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Assistant to join our team. This role involves working directly with children and youth, ensuring their active engagement, well-being, and safety while participating in programs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to follow instructions, and work collaboratively as part of a team. Additionally, they should have knowledge of child and youth development principles and be able to implement developmentally appropriate practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing schedules and activity plans, implementing activities that meet the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of children and youth, and maintaining a safe and engaging program environment.

You will also interact professionally with employees, parents, and local installation command personnel, assess children's developmental progress, and maintain certification and accreditation requirements.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and pass all applicable records and background checks. They must also undergo pre-employment and random drug testing and provide evidence of immunization.
