About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold calling techniques on prospects to identify potential sales opportunities
  • Persuading potential customers to purchase products or services via phone
  • Obtaining referrals and leads from various sources, including lead generation activities
  • Contributing to the collection of data and converting it into qualified leads, followed by sales calls

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serving customers by selling products via telephone
  • Contacting individuals by telephone to solicit sales for goods or services
  • Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Conducting client or market surveys, and typing detailed notes regarding sale or service offered
  • Delivering prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service
  • Explaining products or services and prices, and answering questions from customers
  • Maintaining records of contacts, accounts, and orders in the company's system
  • Obtaining customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and entering orders into computers
  • Obtaining names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as referrals, cold calling, and any other legal means
  • Assisting and supporting the line manager by taking tasks assigned by them when necessary

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of high school certification
  2. Diploma and some form of work experience is preferred
  3. Strong communication skills
  4. Good selling skills
  5. Positive energy and teamwork ethos
  6. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  7. Good understanding of the services
  8. Be highly computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office Products
  9. Ability to persuade others to change their minds or behavior
  10. Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to actively look for ways to help people

Typical Working Conditions:

Normal working hours: 40 hours a week. Working timing may include rotating shifts. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
