About the Role:

As a Mixology Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks. You will engage with guests to provide recommendations, answer questions about drink offerings, and create a welcoming atmosphere.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages according to recipes and established standards.
  2. Guest Engagement: Engage with guests to provide recommendations, answer questions about drink offerings, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  3. Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all tools, glassware, and ingredients are readily available.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of bar supplies, ordering as necessary to ensure seamless service.
  5. Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and cleanliness standards.
  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely beverage service alongside food orders.
  7. Cocktail Innovation: Create and innovate new cocktail recipes that align with the Greek theme of the restaurant.
  8. Cash Handling: Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a bartender in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred.
  • Mixology Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
