We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Child Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues in children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, therapy sessions, and interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support a child's psychological well-being and development.
  • Administer and interpret results of psychological testing and evaluations.
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient assessments and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in child psychology and developmental theory.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: A Master's degree in Psychology is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7-8 years of professional experience in child psychology is required.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Contract Duration: A one-year contract with the possibility of extension based on performance.
  • Location: Bahrain.
  • Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
