Job Description

The Security Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff at Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and Assignments: Prepare daily schedules for Security Officers and issue post-patrol assignments as required.
  • Key Control and Distribution: Supervise key distribution and control according to hotel policies and procedures, reporting any discrepancies to superiors.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all control centre documents, including General Security Log, Key Control, Lost and Found, and Visitor Passes.
  • Maintenance and Service: Ensure all equipment related to the department is properly maintained and serviced, in accordance with equipment manuals.
  • Vehicle Management: Control car log books, distribute car keys, report damages, and monitor kilometers driven per day.
  • Special Events: Review scheduled functions, groups, or VIP arrivals and special events, discussing special instructions with relevant departments.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible with work hours to facilitate security arrangements for cases requiring special treatment and handling.
  • Liaison with Authorities: Liaise with local authorities to identify activities affecting hotel operations, sharing concerns with superiors.

In addition, the Security Manager will provide access to high-risk areas, exercise vigilance for asset protection, and secure the area when access is no longer required.
