Job Title

Lead Field Service Engineer - Chemical Analysis and Treatment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily chemical analysis at the laboratory.
  • Compare test results with chemical treatment program guidelines.
  • Provide on-site trouble-shooting support and facilitate communication with technical support teams.
  • Perform sampling and analytical monitoring as required by the monitoring plan.
  • Update client technical files using a dedicated online platform.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering.
  • Review chemical injection rates for all production chemicals under contract.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the site manager to deliver the Contract Scope.
  • Collaborate with onsite teams to identify necessary spares and consumables, and develop an ordering schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in water chemical treatment (Desalination, RO, Boiler, Cooling & Waste Water) and Refinery chemical process treatment (Desalter, CDU, Amine unit, preheat exchanger, tank farm additives, etc).
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with a results-oriented approach.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with Arabic a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with self-initiative and motivation.
  • Strong organizational skills.
About the Role:

Our team requires a highly skilled Chemical Analysis and Treatment Specialist to provide direction and assistance to the work group in meeting assigned objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in water chemical treatment and refinery chemical process treatment.

The Chemical Analysis and Treatment Specialist will be responsible for conducting daily chemical analysis, comparing test results, and providing on-site trouble-shooting support.
