Executive Assistant to President

The role of Executive Assistant to the President is a vital position at Reso University, providing essential support to the institution's leadership and ensuring the smooth operation of the president's office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: The Executive Assistant efficiently manages the president's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events, as well as preparing and organizing documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Communication: The Executive Assistant serves as a liaison between the president's office and internal/external stakeholders, drafting communications, speeches, and other materials on behalf of the president while maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive matters.
  • Meeting Coordination: This position requires organizing and preparing materials for board meetings, faculty meetings, and other strategic events, taking and distributing meeting minutes as needed, and ensuring follow-up on action items from meetings involving the president.
  • Project Management: The Executive Assistant oversees special projects and initiatives at the request of the president, including strategic planning, events, and key university activities, tracking progress, meeting deadlines, and reporting back on outcomes.
  • Event Coordination: This role involves planning and executing university events, such as alumni gatherings, donor meetings, faculty/staff appreciation events, and public lectures involving the president, ensuring their involvement aligns with their schedule.
  • Budget and Resource Management: The Executive Assistant assists with managing resources for the president's office, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking expenditures.

This dynamic role requires adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to balance routine administrative tasks with more strategic responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
