Accounting Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Bahrain.

This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and coordinating with internal departments for budget preparation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA), and 4+ years of accounting experience based in Bahrain.

They should be proficient in accounting software and MS Excel, possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and be fluent in English and Arabic languages.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely invoicing and payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for budget preparation and expense tracking.
  • Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Bahraini accounting laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
  • Maintain accounting databases and systems (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks).
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience based in Bahrain.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic languages.
