About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team, responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business stakeholders' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis.
- Creating comprehensive data documentation covering parameters and models to ensure robust information tracking.
- Running DAX queries and functions on Power BI.
- Connecting Power BI to various data sources, including databases, excel files, APIs, etc. to import data for analysis.
- Monitoring performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Scheduling and automating data refreshes to keep reports up-to-date with the latest data.
- Coordinating with information security to ensure protection of sensitive data and ensure compliance with organizational security.
- Providing training support to end users on using Power BI.
- Keeping management informed with the most up-to-date Power BI features.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts.
- Strong proficiency in DAX formulas for calculations and aggregations.
- Knowledge of Department Procedures and Processes.
- Certified BI Developer.
- Experience with SQL server, Power BI, DAX Studio, Tableau.
- Knowledge or experience in ETL.
- Microsoft Fabric knowledge.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data connections, queries and visualizations.
- Data Analysis.
- Communication and Presentation Skills.
