Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to business units, fostering a world-class safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Elevate company-wide safety standards by establishing robust methods aligned with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to create, maintain, and enhance a safe working environment across all business units.
  • Leverage your expertise to plan, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to address HSE-related concerns and drive positive outcomes.
  • Lead emergency response efforts in the event of injuries or environmental incidents, serving as the subject matter expert and company representative for litigation purposes.
  • Support Human Resources in Worker's Compensation cases, providing valuable insights and guidance.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively, taking timely corrective action when necessary.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Project management and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and innovative approach to safety solutions.
