IT Professional

We are currently seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net).

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide direct Tier II customer support and resolution for various hardware and software issues.

• Provide prompt and effective resolution to customer inquiries regarding hardware and software issues.
• Perform routine system administrative functions including account creations and modifications, access control list (ACL) modification, management of distribution and mail-enabled security groups, shared mailbox permissions, and mail management functions.
• Respond to server anomalies and take corrective actions to prevent or minimize downtime.
• Assist with the deployment of applicable Windows Server and Windows Desktop software using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
• Monitor and maintain security and integrity standards and controls.
• Perform and document STIG check and findings as required by Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) guidelines.
• Back up files, perform file restoration, and conduct disaster recovery using COMMVAULT backup software.
• Utilize BMC Remedy IT Service Management software for incident management and documenting customer change requests.
• Collaborate with the team to create and manage standard operating procedures and supporting documentation.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and testing of hardware, software, and network configurations to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.

• Active US Government Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship is required due to contract stipulations.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in IT support.
• Must possess OEM network support certification (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate Certification).
• Experience with Windows Server or Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Systems administration skills.
• Understanding of IP/Networking fundamentals.
• IAT Level II certification required.

• Virtual Server/VSphere Web Client experience.
• IA patching/SCM backup experience.
• DISA STIG implementation knowledge.
• Experience rolling mobile devices into the cloud.
• COMMVAULT/SCCM expertise.
• Azure systems administration.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
