Electromechanical Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Systems Engineer to join our project team, specializing in the design and implementation of public works and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design review and implementation of electromechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with architectural structural and civil teams to ensure system integration.
  • Supervise MEP contractors ensuring adherence to project specifications codes and quality standards.
  • Review shop drawings materials submittals and method statements.
  • Lead site inspections testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Manage project timelines and resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Liaise with clients consultants and governmental authorities as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's is a plus).
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in the Gulf region.
  • Strong background in public works/infrastructure projects is mandatory.
  • Excellent knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE NFPA NEC etc.).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit MEP and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong leadership communication and project coordination skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with government entities or municipalities.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
  • Valid engineering registration or license in Bahrain or a GCC country is an advantage.
