Job Summary

This role involves providing healthcare services to students in a Pre-K-12 setting. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) and current RN license issued by a State Board of Nursing or a school nurse license issued by a State Board of Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administers first aid care and refers students for follow-up healthcare as appropriate.
  • Works in coordination with the school guidance counselor to provide services to students with special needs.
  • Plans with and assists teachers in teaching health units and topics as deemed appropriate.
Requirements

The successful candidate must satisfy the requirements of DoD regulations for employment in foreign areas, including obtaining official passports and undergoing drug screening.

They must also meet health and medical requirements, including considerations for overseas assignments, family medical needs, and legal considerations regarding same-sex partners in foreign countries.
