Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

The Data Insights Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the technical functional task area of operational efficiency. This includes analyzing, manipulating, and processing large datasets using statistical software.

The specialist will identify business problems or program objectives that can be addressed through data analysis and deliver oral presentations and written reports of mathematical modeling and data analysis to stakeholders.

The Data Insights Specialist will design surveys, opinion polls, or other tools to collect data, create graphs, charts, or other visualizations to convey the results of data analysis, and write functions and customize applications to conduct analyses.

They will recommend data-driven solutions to programs for decision-making and interpret test information to resolve design-related issues.

The Data Insights Specialist will also identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, work with manufacturers and suppliers to procure parts, oversee and report on the installation or operation of equipment or systems, and research equipment or component needs, sources, competitive prices, delivery times, or ongoing operational costs.

Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned, working closely with the team to ensure maintenance, repairs, and alterations are at minimum cost and impact and consistent with safety and policy, and maintaining contact with contractors.

The Data Insights Specialist will be responsible for designing and overseeing testing, installation, repair of, and training on equipment and systems, reviewing layout and operation of assets, and preparing plans, estimates, and contract specifications.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' professional experience related to the position and a Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field.
