Sustainability and Environmental Consultant
Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Sustainability and Environmental Consultant to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing onsite operations, ensuring SHEQT compliance throughout the business, and providing support on all matters related to the company's SHEQ strategies, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- This role requires effective communication, awareness training, consultation, inspections, and implementing change where required to maintain the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Group SHEQT Manager in establishing and maintaining the highest Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Conducting inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with legislation, client contractual requirements, and internal Integrated Management System.
- Managing site facilities, including management of contractors, and ensuring HSEQ standards are adhered to.
- Advising project management on all SHEQ, occupational health, and welfare matters.
Requirements:
- A degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the construction industry, preferably in environmental roles.
- Proven ability to foster strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email.
