Job Description:
Almoayyed Contracting Group seeks a highly skilled MEP Coordinator to join our team. As an MEP Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for our projects.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing procurement schedules, reviewing shop drawings, and coordinating with discipline engineers to secure approvals. You will also monitor MAC and shop drawing trackers, update the main contractor on work allocation, and anticipate complications in all services.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare procurement schedules, including submittals, approvals, and delivery for MEP long-lead items.
  • Review all shop drawings from all disciplines before submission to the consultant/client for approval.
  • Coordinate among discipline engineers to secure approval for all MEP shop drawings and Material Approval Certificates (MAC).
  • Monitor the MAC and shop drawing trackers regularly.
  • Update the main contractor on work allocation and execution on a daily basis.
  • Anticipate complications in all services and troubleshoot them during the construction phase.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position. Additionally, you should have experience in building services design and coordination, as well as proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the GCC region.
