We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in delivering top-notch software solutions.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned manager to drive the development and delivery of our software products. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction of our engineering team, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop project plans, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Your expertise in software development methodologies, including agile development, will enable you to make informed decisions and drive positive outcomes.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferably with a focus on software engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Linux and Ubuntu
  • Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects, including defining project requirements, developing project plans, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
