IT Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide first-line support for all hardware and software issues across the resort, including front office systems, restaurants, back office, and guest-facing technology.
- Systems Management: Maintain and monitor critical hospitality systems, including PMS (Property Management System), POS (Point of Sale), PBX (telephone), and network infrastructure.
- Guest Services: Assist guests with connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, in-room technology) promptly and courteously, ensuring a seamless luxury experience.
- Network Security: Assist in implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures to protect guest data and company assets.
- Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance, system backups, and coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs and software upgrades.
- Inventory: Manage IT inventory, including cables, peripherals, and spare equipment. Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an IT Executive, IT Officer, or similar role within a 4-star or 5-star hotel/resort environment.:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of PMS (Opera, IDS, or similar) is essential.
- Experience with networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls).
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
- Understanding of POS systems and telephone exchanges (PABX).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and a guest-oriented mindset. Must be able to explain technical issues to non-technical staff and guests with patience.
