Role Overview

As an AI Specialist, you'll be the hands-on engine powering our AI experiments and automations. You'll dive deep into the latest large language models, build and fine-tune agents, and craft workflows that solve real business problems. If you live and breathe prompt engineering, spend your weekends tinkering with new AI tools, and can't wait to prototype "just one more" idea, this is your playground.

Curious? No coding required. You don't need a programming background to excel in this role if you're passionate about AI and creative problem-solving; we'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Do  Agent Development & Prompt EngineeringDesign, iterate, and optimize prompts for LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)Build custom AI agents that automate tasks, surfacing data and insights in real time. Proof-of-Concept PrototypingRapidly prototype ideas: from automated email assistants to intelligent analytics dashboards.Collaborate with Product and Engineering to scope, test, and demo each POC. Data Preparation & Model TuningCollect, clean, and structure data to steer API-based LLMs or fine-tune open-source models.Monitor performance and iterate on training pipelines. Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with business stakeholders to identify pain points and translate them into AI solutions.Document your workflows and share best practices across the squad. 1. WhatsApp Personal Chef Bot
   Build a flow where users message their personal chef, and the backend routes instructions to a chef's dashboard with meal prep details.
    
2. Smart Delivery ETA Checker
   Create an agent that tracks driver locations and dynamically calculates ETAs based on remaining stops.
    
3. Automated Content Creator
   Search through customer support chats to find fun stories, then turn them into content pieces—initially as blog posts and later as short-form videos that can be auto-posted to social media.
    
4. Your Own AI-Driven Idea
   Pitch and prototype any AI automation or agent that could add value to a subscription business like Calo.
