Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Aquatics and Safety Manager based in Manama. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the safety and operations of the waterpark's aquatic facilities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves managing lifeguard staff, implementing safety protocols, conducting training sessions, and responding effectively to emergencies. Additional responsibilities include equipment maintenance, routine safety inspections, and collaborating with other departments to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in aquatics management, lifeguard training, and safety supervision
  • Ability to implement and uphold safety protocols, including first aid and emergency response
  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of waterpark operations and facility maintenance
  • Relevant certifications in lifeguard training, CPR, first aid, and water safety (e.g., Ellis & Associates, American Red Cross, or equivalent)
  • Degree or equivalent experience in recreation management, hospitality, or a related field is preferred
