The SD-WAN Architect supports the customer with day-to-day operational escalations and acts as a point of contact for your operations team.
Coupling in-depth SD-WAN, Data Center and SD-Access knowledge with familiarity with End Customer's network environment, the resident consultant can simplify End Customer in-house IT operational challenges and focuses efforts to address issues more quickly, resolve similar ones, and minimize network downtime.
Knowledgeable in technologies, specifically SD-WAN, Data Center and SD-Access, he can leverage Intellectual property and has access to network and engineers to speed up resolution.
Based in End Customer premises, he acts as a crucial link between Client and End Customer for operational needs around SD-WAN, Data Center and SD-Access technologies deployed in End Customer's network.
It is important to highlight that the resident consultant will only assist in design and implementation of the new technologies whereas such work is the sole responsibility of End Customer and/or End Customer services providers.
The resident consultant will be acting as:
Planning Advisor fulfilling the following key activities,
Work with End Customer to plan, design, configure and/or diagnose Client suite of products, services and solutions to accelerate End Customer outcomes
Broad and Exhaustive Knowledge and Experience in Digital Transformation and new technologies along with relevant skills in government sector and applicable use cases
Equipped with consultancy and advisory background, provide recommendations, best practice and guidelines boosting the digital transformation and fulfilling the technical and business End Customer objectives
Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design
Align Technical deliverables to End Customer business outcomes
Drive End Customer technology transitions, influencing solutions architectures and services
Architect fulfilling the following key activities,
Work with End Customer and Client Account Team on strategy and deployment of services and Network Support Systems
Assist with architectural network designs for medium scale networks
Provide on-site deployment support for new projects related to SD-WAN, SD-Access and Data Center.
Attend regular webinars/seminars delivered by business development team to present new families of Client products and solutions to End Customer network team.
Incident Responder fulfilling the following key activities,
Perform analysis and diagnosis of medium complexity networking problems
Act as the focal point of contact from End Customer network team with incident support teams.
Effectively document details of work performed including network changes if any.
Bridge builder between End Customer and fulfilling the following key activities,
Acting as of one of End Customer team in day to day operations
Engage the adoption teams to provide recommendations, best practice and guidelines
Assist End Customer with integration and implementation of tools, systems and service assurance
Build End Customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues
Create and deliver End Customer collaterals, portals, documentation and knowledge transfer
Implementor fulfilling the following routine and planned activities,
Develop solid Knowledge of End Customer operational network (SD-WAN, SD-Access, DC).
Create biweekly reports using the installed analytics tools (If any).
Lead the implementation of the remediation actions when and where applicable.
Weekly meeting with End Customer network manager to agree on the priorities of the week.
Deliver internal sessions to enhance network and product awareness within the End Customer network team.
Orchestrate the critical planned changes on the End Customer network by following the End Customer defined changed management process:
Change requester to fill the CR form with the change and business requirements.
Resident consultant is engaged to discuss the required technical changes to fulfill the business requirements
Update the CR with the technical details (config changes, impact, risk and failover).
Join the change requester in presenting the CR to the different CAB levels identified by End Customer change management process
