Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Amwaj Islands. The Accountant will perform daily tasks such as preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining records of financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant will also assist with preparing budgets, tax filings, and financial forecasts, as well as collaborating with team members on financial reporting and audits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation, and Financial Analysis
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Familiarity with Tax Compliance, Auditing, and Financial Regulations
• Experience with Accounting Software and General Ledger Reconciliation
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Strong communication skills for effectively reporting financial data
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly desirable
