Live-In Companion Assistant for 15-Year-Old Girl with Autism

We are seeking a compassionate, friendly, and energetic Travel Companion Assistant to support our 15-year-old daughter who is on the autism spectrum. The role is for a 2 year assignment (extendable) to live with our family in Bahrain with occasional travel.

This is a unique opportunity for a young assistant/ therapist or psychology student who enjoys working with children.

Role Responsibilities:

Daily Companionship & Engagement: Be a positive and calming presence for our daughter throughout the day and assist with her daily routines.

Creative Interaction: Engage in drawing, music, storytelling, and gentle play activities.

Outdoor Support: Accompany her for walks, beach time, nature visits, or light cycling.

Therapy Coordination: Help with basic therapy routines and accompany her for the therapy sessions that are scheduled.

Emotional Support: Provide reassurance and emotional regulation during unfamiliar environments or transitions.

Travel Readiness: Be prepared for travel.

Who You Are:

Aged 21–30, female,

Assist, Student or graduate in psychology, occupational therapy, special education, or related field

Experienced or comfortable working with children on the autism spectrum

Able to travel comfortably with the family and adapt to new environments

Speaks fluent English and basic Hindi.

Warm, respectful, and grounded in values

Additional Details:

All travel, food, and accommodation will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD BD per month
