Store Keeper

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage inventory and materials. The role involves handling stock movements, maintaining inventory , and coordinating material issuance and delivery. The candidate must ensure accuracy in stock records, timely reporting, and proper documentation including preparation of delivery notes for client/site shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials and verify quality & quantity against purchase orders.
• Record all material transactions exclusively in the ERP system.
• Issue materials to fabrication and site teams based on approved requests.
• Prepare delivery notes for shipments and coordinate dispatch to sites/clients.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct periodic physical inventory checks.
• Monitor minimum stock requirements and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts; reconcile any discrepancies and report to management.
• Organize store layout systematically for easy identification and safe storage.
• Track and document transfers between main store and site stores.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance in storage areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in construction projects, especially steel.
• Strong knowledge of ERP-based inventory management (mandatory).
• Physically fit for material handling tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Qualification: Bachelor's degree.
