ABOUT CLIENT-

• Our client is a leader in the field of interior fit out and furniture manufacturing.

ROLE PURPOSE

• The Site Surveyor is applicable to change and develop in accordance of the change in the organization volume of business.

REQUIREMENT-

Academic requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors in Civil Engineer.

Experience Requirements:

• Should have at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience of having worked in a similar role in a manufacturing setup
• Experience of working in GCC countries is also an advantage

SALARY AND BENEFITS-

• Salary-450 BHD = Rs / month
• Housing Allowance: 100 BHD 100 = Rs / month
• Transportation Allowance-FREE
• Contract Duration :2 years.
• Working Hours-8 hours per day, 6 days per week.
• Insurance: Free medical insurance as per Bahrain Labor Law.
• Air Ticket: Entitled once every two years for the employee only. This benefit is applicable for travel from Bahrain to the employee's home country only.
• Annual leave: 30 days paid leave
• Training programs: free provided to the employee as per the department plan & budget

WORKING HOURS-

• Eight hours a day, six days a week, from 8:00 am to 1:00 noon and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Lunch time is from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Management Activities

• Supervise and monitor the project teams as per Project schedule created by the Head of Project & Fit out

Operational Activities

• Undertake a site visit after the work order for a particular job is created
• Take the Setting out & site survey and share it with the Head of Projects & Fit out & respective project in charge as well as design team
• Work with the customer to create a rough design and understand the feasibility of different design ideas and consult the design team as and when required
• Coordinate with the Designers and Quantity Surveyors for getting designs finalized and for getting quantity estimation completed respectively
• Make recommendations to the Head of Production for staffing requirements of specific projects
• Double check the staffing for the projects based on the list of site visits created by the Workshop Coordinator
• Inspection of the site before delivery of material to ascertain the feasibility and readiness for delivery of the product (for example, construction has to be completed before delivery of parquet flooring and other similar products)
• Engage the customer throughout the project and address any customer queries/complaints that may arise during the project
• Update the Head of Projects & Fit out about the progress of each job and the commensurate invoice that is to be generated by the Finance Department
• Collect the invoices from Head of Projects & Fit Out or the Finance
• Department and collect the payments from the respective customers after completion of more than 90% of the job
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and close such opportunities with the help of outdoor sales personnel.
• Ensure work is in accordance with Project plan.
• Planning & Requisition of men & materials as per work program schedule.
• Monitoring & control the men, material consumption and subcontractors work.
• Ensure high productivity and proper usage of assets and machinery with adequate safety measures for the workmen.
• Check quality & quantity of materials received at site.
• Maintaining & forwarding daily work progress report, along with daily manpower.
• Site survey should be conducted before start the site execution
• Setting out should be conducted before start the site execution
• Co-ordination with Factory. Keeping the production team updated with any developments / changes in the site
• Preparation of daily list of tradesmen employed and allocation of work.
• Checking and controlling the wastage of materials at site
• Maintaining the all-necessary records & documents at site.
• To co-ordinate with different agencies involved in maintaining proper progress of the project.
• Maintaining cleanliness at work spots by monitoring the house keeping activities.
• Preparation of bills with the help of billing staff.
• Conducting the training programme for tradesmen regarding work procedure and safety measures.
• & M Manual must be submitted to Client after completion of Project
• Project Commissioning and handing over as per the programme.
• Any other work entrusted by the Head of Projects & Fit Out from time to time.

Authorities-

• Authorities Decision Making: He can take decisions to manage his group members
• Financial authority: None

Work condition

• The employee will work inside the AWD offices and at the sites.

Tools & equipments

• The employee is responsible to all the company assets provided to him to perform in his job such as computers, furnitures and office

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Academic requirements:

Technical Skill Requirements:

• Should be self-motivated and very hard working
• Should have skills for client management and some basic knowledge of design issues for engaging the customer
• Ability to communicate in English as well as Arabic is preferred
• Reading and understanding the shop drawings
• Able to manage his group
• Adequate knowledge of computer in relevant field & other regular uses like internet, mails and Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of Auto cad

Behavioral Skill Requirements:

• Should be capable to explain the job to his team verbally and in writing.
• Should be able to convince others to accept his ideas and suggestions.
• Able to communicate effectively to the client and to the team members.
• Able to coordinate with the other contactors at the site.
• Capable to manage the time as per the jobs on priority.

General Skills requirement:

• Able to improve himself constantly.
• Punctual and not absent without valid reason dependable.
• Example in following the rules of the company.
• Good health and hygiene.

• The performance evaluation of an employee would change based on the strategic plan of the Department and as per the Job Description
