We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join the finance team at a leading hospitality and recreation organization. This position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of accounting experience who is eager to develop their skills in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and occasional financial reporting in a dynamic and service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily AP and AR transactions, including vendor payments and customer invoicing
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
  • Maintain organized financial documentation for internal and external audits
  • Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year closing processes
  • Communicate with vendors, members, and other departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in financial operations and reporting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
  • Solid understanding of AP/AR procedures and basic financial principles
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the hospitality, club, or recreation industry
  • Exposure to financial statement preparation and audit processes
