Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Plant In-Charge to oversee plant operations, product handling, inventory management, and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in factory or plant management, ensuring smooth production processes, quality control, and effective distribution of goods. The role requires leadership, operational expertise, and knowledge of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operations & Production Management:

  • Oversee daily plant activities, ensuring smooth workflow and production efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for product handling, packaging, and storage.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitor and optimize plant machinery, equipment, and production processes.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues to ensure minimum downtime.

2. Inventory & Logistics Management:

  • Supervise stock levels, inventory management, and raw material procurement.
  • Ensure proper storage, tracking, and movement of goods within the plant.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics teams for seamless material flow.
  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent losses and wastage.

3. Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are met.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with Bahrain's labor laws, industry standards, and environmental policies.

4. Team Leadership & Workforce Management:

  • Supervise plant staff, ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
  • Train, mentor, and develop employees for skill enhancement and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to work schedules, productivity targets, and labor management.

5. Reporting & Cost Control:

  • Monitor plant expenses and control operational costs.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, inventory, and workforce performance.
  • Provide insights and suggestions to improve plant efficiency and reduce overheads.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in plant operations, production, or warehouse management.
  • Strong knowledge of product handling, inventory control, and supply chain management.
  • Experience with ERP, SAP, or warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, labor laws, and compliance standards in Bahrain.
