Specialist Ophthalmologist
to join a leading medical center in Bahrain

Role Summary:

The Specialist Ophthalmologist will be responsible for delivering high-quality eye care through outpatient consultations and day care services, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outpatient (OPD) consultations and manage various ophthalmic conditions.
  • Diagnose and treat eye diseases and disorders using appropriate medical and minor surgical procedures.
  • Prescribe treatments, perform minor procedures, and refer patients for advanced care when required.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant patient medical records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Adhere to the highest ethical and clinical standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education:
    MBBS + MS in Ophthalmology
  • Experience:
    Minimum 3 years post-MS, with a valid license from the home country
  • Certifications:
    BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Licensure Requirements:
  • Dataflow verification and attested educational documents
  • Good Standing Certificate
  • Successful completion of the NHRA Bahrain Prometric Exam
  • Languages:
    Proficiency in English and Hindi (Arabic is a plus)
