Plumber

The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all plumbing systems and fixtures to ensure the smooth operation of water supply, drainage, and sanitation within the property. The role supports the overall guest experience by ensuring that plumbing systems function safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Maintenance
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, sewage, and sanitary fixtures.
• Service and maintain water heaters, pumps, filtration systems, and other plumbing equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of plumbing assets.
• Repairs & Emergency Response
• Respond promptly to plumbing issues reported by staff or guests (e.g., leaks, clogs, low water pressure).
• Diagnose malfunctions and implement effective, timely repairs.
• Minimize disruption to guests during repairs by working efficiently and discreetly.
• Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
• Adhere to hotel safety protocols, including proper use of tools and protective equipment.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, repairs, and installations.
• Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with the engineering/maintenance team and other departments to coordinate repair schedules.
• Assist in renovation or refurbishment projects as required.
• Provide technical support during special events or operational demands.
