Roles and responsibilities carried out by the role:
- Monitor daily PayPal transactions including customer payments, vendor payouts, and refunds.
- Record PayPal transactions accurately in the accounting system (ERP/Excel/QuickBooks).
- Reconcile PayPal balances with bank statements and internal records on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in PayPal accounts.
- Manage PayPal-related chargebacks, disputes, and claims.
- Prepare monthly PayPal financial reports for management.
- Assist with cash flow monitoring related to PayPal transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Support internal and external audits related to PayPal transactions.
- Coordinate with finance, operations, and customer service teams to resolve payment-related issues.
Education Qualification and/ or certification required:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably with e-commerce or online payment platforms.
- Strong knowledge of PayPal systems and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (odoo,or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in both written and verbal communication in English and Arabic is mandatory.
- Candidates must be currently residing in Bahrain.
Skills required for the role:
- Experience handling multiple e-wallets or online payment gateways.
- Familiarity with international transactions and multi-currency reconciliations.
